Job: Pain, Evil, Sufferings

There are many things that I've experienced through my life. I have experienced problems regarding my grades, heartaches, and social problems with my friends sometimes. My life is not as interesting compared to a rape victim, to a cancer survivor, to an instant millionaire, or from an ex-convict. Though my life is not as exciting as those that I have mentioned, I can still say that my life is worth living and enjoying in some aspects as well.
Before I got carried over and tell a completely irrelevant story, I would like to go back to the purpose of writing this piece of essay like I am doing at this moment of time. Why are there evil, pain, and sufferings?
Yes, we know that many of us will give the answer: "The rich and the corrupt people are the ones responsible for the bad things that are happening in our society nowadays." Yes, it is true, that many rich and corrupt people are involved in the crisis that the world's facing now. But if we looked deeply into ourselves, we can see that the people we are blaming, is not the source of the things that became today's sad reality.
Who/What is really the cause of evil, pain, and sufferings? This is the question that bothers us all. Do not think deeply. Because even how hard we think of the causes of the troubles that happen nowadays, we cannot identify a single cause. It is us who causes such evil, pain and sufferings to each one of us. And admitting to yourself that you are the cause of a problem is such a hard thing to do.

When Adam and Eve committed a sin by falling into the snake’s trick, Adam and Eve gained the knowledge of good and bad. With this, the advancement of humans took place. Robots, elevators, phone, pencil, and house: are random examples of things that human advancement has given to us. It gave us a comfortable and an easier life.

Like God, man saw that it was good, and continued on working with the goal: to make his life and others life easier. As time goes by, the infinite needs of man shows up. We are cannot be contented anymore and works just for money, money, and MONEY.

Crimes such as theft, malicious acts, corruption, and all sorts of things that can make others suffer arise.

If we analyze the situations thoroughly, we can clearly see that the infinite human wants (particularly money) is the main cause of different problems. We, man, are made by God. But, we cannot accept that we are just creations of Him and also has boundaries. As His superior creation, we are trying to cross the path that has been drawn by fate. The path that we are trying to cross can elevate our status as man.

We are just creations of God. We do not have to power to be like Him or to have such powers like Him. All we can do is to praise Him and do good things about Him. As long as there are people who think of nobody but himself and as long as people will remain blind for all the sufferings that are happen, evil, pain, and sufferings will continue.
