Gospel. July 9-16

1. This day, it started as an ordinary one. I did my habitual “ceremonies” after waking up. I ate, take a bath, get dressed, and commute to reach my school. On my way to Caltex, the tricycle where I rode stopped between at the intersection just before we got to Caltex. He said that the other passengers are designated their location at gate 1. This forced me to go down the tricycle and reach for my fare at my bag. When I am looking for some coins, I noticed my 10 peso coined rolled down the road. When I picked it up, a white Mitsubishi van got passed to where I used to stand up. The speed of the van was noticeable for it blew my hair vigorously. I felt shock for what happened. What if my 10 peso coin didn’t roll? Would I get myself killed? As I worry about these things, the tricycle driver yelled at me: “Hoy boy, bayad mo?!” I laughed at myself after what happened. But I know the 10 peso coin didn’t roll on purpose. Somehow, somewhat, something saved me from such death. I thanked God immediately when I reached Caltex.

2. It is Sunday and my family has a little time together at the mall. I usually get bored when we are going to the mall because of the long hours walking. My mother and my sisters used to look at almost every shop in the mall and do what they call as “window shopping.” I can’t believe they can waste their time wandering around the mall without anything to buy.

While the “girl side” of our family went off to go window shopping; my dad, my little brother and I went to the gaming station to enjoy ourselves. My boredom went off, and I discovered how happy it was to be with them. I didn’t care who won as long as I am playing with them. We laughed, eat together and walk around. Up to now, I am still lazy of going outside the house or visiting the mall. But every time they managed to persuade me, I never became disappointed with them. =)
