Gospel. May 21-28

1. This is the first day of our classes. When I arrived at Caltex, I felt nervous. I have few questions going in my mind that instance. What awaits me in my new school? What kind of friends I am going to have? Will I be a loner?

As I worry what will happen to my college life, a girl beside me said: “Frosh ka? Nakaalis na ung shuttle eh! Wala pa kasing logo. Kaya hindi halata na shuttle yun.” When she finished talking, another girl from the other seat talked to me: “Taga la sale din kayo? Freshman kasi ako eh. Hindi ko alam kung saan sasakay.” That time, I didn’t bother what will happen to me in the next few days. I just believe that God would lead me to a right path. And guess what? He just introduced me to my first friend that very day.

2. After few days, our circle of friends grew slowly. It started as 2, goes to 3, and then 4. After days of studying at de la salle Canlubang, I find it easy to adjust for I gained friends right away. I felt like I was still at UP Rural High School. But one of my worries is that if our circle of friends will grow more or will it be just the four of us? I thought my friends will just be limited to three. But after days with them, we met new good friends together along the way. Now, we venture at our college life together. With cooperation, love, and care for each other. God really knows how to bind fates together. He made us into one magnificent picture even though we came from different scraps with different texture.
