1. Time is Gold

• I knew this saying ever since preschool. Time is very precious and not reversible. Use time wisely and effectively. I often disobey this saying because of my laziness

2. God helps them that help themselves.

• God is always here to help us. But we should know how to help ourselves before God could intervene. We cannot accomplish anything by just standing.

3. Honesty is the first chapter of the book of wisdom.

• We should be honest in every thing that we do and the rest will follow.

4. Two roads diverged in a wood, and I... I took the one less traveled by, and that has made all the difference.

• This personal saying is my favorite one. It is said by Robert Frost in his poem, “The road less traveled by”. I can relate that to myself because that is the reason why I am studying at de la salle Canlubang. I am about to take Nursing at UST or BS Bio at UPLB. But I took BS ECE in de la salle because I believe that I can make a change in this path of engineering and I will leave a mark on it for others to follow.

5. Unless you try to do something beyond what you have already mastered, you will never grow.

• Do not settle on things that you already know. We have to explore more and risk ourselves to be able to improve our own capabilities.

6. A goal is a dream with a deadline.

• A goal ends when you accomplished it. Never stop dreaming and having new goals in life!

7. When the character of a man is not clear to you, look at his friends.

• One’s true identity can be seen by his friends. Friends tend to influence each other. As a result, you can know him by knowing his friends first.

8. Whether it's the best of times or the worst of times, it's the only time we've got.

• If he is your true friend, he will always be by your side whatever happens.

9. Love is not based on just magic and sparks

• Love does not only depend on lust or “electricity” that we feel and our love ones are near us. Love is the ability to care and sacrifice for the ones important to you.

10. Some people dream of success... while others wake up and work hard at it.

• We will not accomplish anything by just dreaming and doing nothing about it. Stand up and start to work!

11. I am the master of my fate; I am the captain of my soul.

• We should not rely on horoscopes or destiny. We make are own lives. We are the one responsible for it.

12. You must be the change you wish to see in the world.

• We should be the one to start the change that we want to see. Don’t wait for others to initiate first.
